Vermicelli: A Delicious Delight in Sundridge

Exploring the hidden gem of Bromley

Nestled in the heart of Sundridge lies a quaint little restaurant called Vermicelli. Stepping inside, one is immediately transported to the bustling streets of Italy. The aroma of freshly cooked pasta wafts through the air and the decor is a perfect mix of modern and rustic. As I settled into my seat, I couldn't wait to explore the menu.

To start off, I ordered the bruschetta. The first bite was a burst of flavor in my mouth – a perfect blend of juicy tomatoes, fragrant basil and olive oil. However, what took the dish to the next level was the generous drizzle of balsamic reduction. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and tang.

Moving on to the mains, I simply had to try their signature dish – Vermicelli with sundried tomatoes and olives. The dish arrived, steaming hot and topped with a generous sprinkle of parmesan cheese. The vermicelli was perfectly cooked and the sundried tomatoes added just the right amount of sweetness to the dish, while the olives provided a salty contrast. It was a symphony of flavors and textures.

To round off my meal, I ordered the panna cotta. It looked like a piece of art on a plate – a delicate vanilla-flavored custard, topped with a bright red raspberry coulis and a sprinkle of pistachios. The custard was silky smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal.

As I stepped out of Vermicelli, I realized that I had just discovered a hidden gem in Bromley. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was just perfect. I would highly recommend Vermicelli to anyone who's looking for a truly authentic Italian dining experience.
