It all started on a wild day in North Roe, when the winds were howling and the waves crashing against the cliffs. A man came to the village, claiming to be a taskmaster, and promised work and wealth for all who accepted his challenge. The villagers, desperate for some excitement, eagerly accepted, not knowing what lay ahead.
The first task was to carry a giant boulder up a steep hill, but there was a catch - the boulder was enchanted and cursed with the power of gravity, making it ten times heavier than it looked. The villagers tried and failed, heaving and sweating under the weight of the boulder, but to no avail. It seemed like an impossible task.
The second task was equally absurd - to catch a furious storm in a bottle and bring it back to the taskmaster. The villagers searched high and low, braving the fierce winds and rain, but they found no storm to capture. Just when they thought all was lost, one old man had an idea. He brewed a potion of sea salt, seaweed, and sheep's wool, and poured it into a flask. To their surprise, the potion began to bubble and fizz, and a small whirlwind formed inside the flask. The taskmaster was pleased, but the villagers started to feel uneasy.
The third and final task was the most dangerous of all - to follow a map that led to a hidden treasure, buried deep in a cave near the sea. The villagers set off on their quest, armed with torches, ropes, and pickaxes. As they walked along the rocky shore, they heard strange whispers and eerie music, and felt eyes watching them from every corner. In the cave, they found the treasure, but it was guarded by a pack of vicious seals, each with two heads and razor sharp teeth. The villagers fought bravely, but many were wounded or lost. When they returned to the taskmaster, he laughed and revealed his true form - a giant sea serpent, hungry for more souls to feed on. The villagers fled in terror, never to return to North Roe again.
