The Step-Son Saga in Yockenthwaite

A tale of family drama in the heart of Craven

Yockenthwaite is a small village in the rolling hills of Craven, where life is usually quite peaceful. But not for poor Grace, who found herself caught in the middle of a step-son saga. Her husband's son from a previous marriage had come to stay, and things were not going smoothly.

It started with little things, like the way he always left the toilet seat up or hogged the TV remote. But soon it escalated to bigger problems, like when he accidentally set fire to the curtains in the guest room. Grace couldn't believe her bad luck - why did her step-son have to be such a disaster in human form?

Despite everything, Grace tried to keep the peace. She cooked his favourite meals and listened to his stories with a polite smile. But it was all too much when he brought home a pair of llamas as pets, insisting they would look great in the garden. Grace put up a valiant effort, but drew the line at llamas!

In the end, Grace and her husband had to sit down with the step-son and have a heart-to-heart. They talked about boundaries and responsibilities, and tried to find a way to coexist happily. It wasn't easy, but after a few tense days, they managed to find some common ground. Grace even found herself warming up to the step-son - but she still wasn't convinced about those llamas!
