The Haunting of Little Mill

A small village hiding a dark secret

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Cumbria lies the quaint village of Little Mill. With its charming cottages and friendly locals, it seems like the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. But beneath the surface lies a sinister history, one that the villagers are desperate to keep hidden.

Legend has it that in the late 1800s, a wealthy mill owner and his family were brutally murdered in their home on the edge of the village. Some say it was the work of a jealous rival, while others believe it was a vengeful ghost seeking revenge. Whatever the truth may be, the house has remained uninhabited ever since, its windows boarded up and its doors locked tight.

Despite the warnings of the locals, a group of thrill-seekers decided to explore the abandoned house one moonlit night. As they made their way through the dusty corridors, they heard strange whispers and shuffling footsteps. Suddenly, a cold breeze blew through the room, extinguishing their torches and plunging them into darkness.

Trembling with fear, the group huddled together in the pitch-black room. But what happened next was even more terrifying - they heard the sound of a child's laughter, followed by a blood-curdling scream. When they finally managed to escape the house, they vowed never to return to Little Mill again.

To this day, the villagers of Little Mill deny the existence of any supernatural events in their village. But those who dare to investigate the history of the abandoned mill owner's house will soon realize that some secrets are best left buried...
